Clinton Cash
Clinton Cash is an investigative documentary that explores how Bill and Hillary Clinton went from being “dead broke” and deeply in debt after leaving the White House to amassing a net worth of over $150 million, with over $2 billion in contributions to their foundation.
This large sum of money was accumulated during Mrs. Clinton’s tenure as US Secretary of State, and it was done primarily through lucrative speaking fees and through contracts that were paid for by foreign companies. Some of it also came through the many wealthy Clinton Foundation donors. Regarding this foundation, some research shows that only about 10% of the money that the Clinton Foundation raises actually goes towards the intended aid.
The couple has engaged in the legitimization of some world leaders with shady government practices and they’ve done it in such a way that it creates promotion opportunities for donors, friends, and allies who want to do business in Africa. Business in Africa means dealing with dictators who are going to give you access to mineral rights or oil drilling rights, for a fee, of course. The Clintons deal with foreign entities that want access to Africa. These are particularly mining companies or energy companies who need to get concessions for access to oil or natural gas and such.
These companies give large sums of money to the Clintons in the form of speaking fees or donations to the Clinton Foundation. For instance, Bill Clinton got paid $700,000 a piece for two speeches he made in Nigeria. A man who just happens to be close friends with the president of the country owns the company who paid him. Mr. Clinton’s normal speaking fee is less than $250,000.
After receiving the money, the Clintons then go on to do the bidding before the people who hold the power in Africa in order to encourage them to do business with the individuals who are putting money into their pockets. This behavior is very similar to 19th century colonialism.
Nigeria is a country that is rich in resources, but it’s also one of the most corrupt nations on the face of the earth. The money that is made from oil refinery never trickles down to the people; instead it ends up in the pockets of the oligarchs who run the country. These politicians in turn take that money and put it in Swiss bank accounts. In spite of US law that demands transparency from countries that receive aid, Nigeria has managed to get a waiver from this requirement. This is all because while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, she gave them an exemption.
There is a lot more evidence and a lot of examples of shady business deals that can somehow be traced back to donors of the global initiative owned and run by the Clintons. Coincidence? Not a chance. Watch this film now.
